Do you ever go to Tybee Island (actually in GE but close to HHI)? They have a lot of turtles and you can see them lay eggs and hatch in the late summer. In early fall there are tons of Monarch butterflies that stop in. I have seen the most in Seas Pines (must pay to get in the gate if not property owner) and also at Coligny Plaza.
Thanks for giving me a little bit of my second home today!

Thanks for stopping by! I am glad my video and pics were great value to your children! I couldn't believe they were all washed up on the beach when I was down there. Kinda scary to go in the water right now! Glad you enjoyed HHI! I am ready to go back!
